How the planner works

  • Topics with low confidence are scheduled first and receive more review sessions.
  • Subjects with earlier exam dates receive more sessions per week.
  • Spaced review sessions (Week 2, Week 4) are added automatically for each topic.
  • Sessions never place the same subject in consecutive slots.

Frequently asked questions

How does the study planner work?

Enter each subject with its exam date, add specific topics and confidence ratings, then generate a full timetable. Topics with low confidence are scheduled first and more frequently. Subjects with earlier exam dates receive more sessions per week. Each topic gets a first-pass session plus spaced review sessions at Day+7 and Day+21.

How often should I update my schedule?

Update every Sunday evening: review what you completed during the week, carry forward any missed sessions, and add extra review sessions for topics you found difficult. Regenerating the full schedule each week is better than trying to manually patch an outdated one — the algorithm rebalances priority based on current exam proximity.

How does spaced repetition work in the planner?

Each topic gets a first-pass session when it is introduced, then automatic review sessions at Day+7 and Day+21. These intervals match the first two rungs of a typical spaced repetition schedule. The planner calculates these timings automatically so you don't need to track review dates manually.

How many subjects can I add?

You can add as many subjects as you need. The priority algorithm adjusts automatically — subjects with earlier exam dates receive proportionally more sessions per week. For very large subject lists (8+), consider grouping related topics under one subject heading to keep the schedule manageable.
